First and foremost I am a mother. I also happen to have tattoos,so far I have eight. And yes,I will be getting more. Each and every tattoo has meaning,my skin is a picture book of my life. My three sons know what my tattoos mean and they think that the ink that is now part of me is “awesome,cool and special” I always ask my boys what they think of the design I am planing on getting before I actually get inked. My family is the most important part of who I am,I have a tattoo for each of my boys. I also have two for my hubby,one is a dragon the other is a Celtic band we both have on our left arm. I have heard people say such things as “Those poor kids! they must feel awful having a mom with tattoos” ”Do you think she went to jail?” ”She most have got those BEFORE she had children” To all those people asking the questions. My children are happy,healthy,loving,kind,considerate,well behaved children. I am proud to be their mother each and every day! They have shown nothing but support for each and every tattoo that I wear. My three year old son knows what tattoo is “his” and proudly says that I have it because I love him. I have never been to jail,if you consider a tattoo a tell~tail sign that a person has spent time in jail. I ask that you check each and every person that you or your children have contact with for tattoos. You would be surprised at who is hiding a little (or a lot) of ink. On the subject of hidden tattoos,you might want to take a look at your friend’s ankle,I’m pretty sure that the rose shape is not a birth mark. I got ALL of my tattoos AFTER having my children,I as an adult woman have decided to get the tattoos I have waited since childhood.
